Wow. Hadn’t heard that song in a LONG time. And I’m grateful 😆

I really liked Trio and play this song every once in a while.

A foreign langauge hit is fine by me. And it’s a great tune. Remember when pop was fun?

LOL Sonny, another great post. I remember this ditty. I wish I didn't, but it was fun to revisit it through your lens with a good lashing of wit.

Yikes. Glad I missed that one. It’s so German though. Think Autobahn or Trans Europe Express.

I recall that DaDaDa was used in an ad campaign in the US about 20 years ago - that's how I encountered it. (I think it was a Volkswagen ad, but who knows?)

Same thing happened with "Tarzan Boy" - advertising mouthwash or toothpaste, maybe?

It's not your fault. It's like Blues Traveler told us: the Hook brings you back!

I can totally see it being used in a commercial. Didn’t know about Tarzan Boy, but it sounds about right.

Appreciate you taking the time to read and comment. You’re also now the coolest for making a Blues Traveler joke.

I wrote about this song (and band) for a recent piece on gibberish earworm songs. Luckily this one doesn’t torture me so much!
