Let’s be honest.
Every Gen Xer knows that our music is the best music. Whether it’s pop, rock, goth or grunge; new wave, hip hop or whatever you call Enya, nothing beats the soundtrack of our kickass generation.
Enter the Gen X Jukebox.
Once a week I write about a song from our glorious past. I talk about the tune and about the artist, about a person or memory the music inspired, or how it might reflect upon a Gen Xers life today.
Think of this space as a regular jukebox chock full of songs. Some are fast. Some are slow. Some are happy. Others are sad. You never know what you’re gonna get because I’m the one who’s pushing the buttons.
Now I know that one fan’s Soundgarden is another’s Milli Vanilli. Which is to say that some of the songs I choose you’ll like, while others will make you want to hurl. All I can say is that I’ll do my best to entertain you every time I put another dime in the Gen X Jukebox.
